Our family farm

Our Story

It All Started with
a Bar of Soap.

In 2015, our youngest daughter was struggling with severe eczema. We tried every pharmacy lotion and prescription cream the dermatologist recommended. Nothing worked — and worse, most of the products seemed to inflame her skin further.

In desperation, we started researching what was actually in the soaps we used every day. The ingredient lists were alarming. Synthetic fragrances. SLS. Preservatives we couldn't pronounce. We decided the only way to be sure was to make our own.

We already had Nigerian Dwarf goats on our small farm — they were pets, mostly. We started using their milk to make simple, four-ingredient soap. The change in our daughter's skin within two weeks was remarkable. Within a month, the eczema was nearly gone.

Friends noticed. They asked for bars. Then their friends asked. Then strangers started emailing. By 2016, Bloom & Barrow was a real business.

Ten years later, we still hand-cut every bar. We still use milk from our own herd — now 18 goats strong. We still refuse to compromise on ingredients. And we still donate 2% of every sale to foster care organizations, because a foster family's kindness is what gave us the strength to start this journey in the first place.

What We Stand For

No GMOs, Ever

We source every ingredient with the same care we'd use for our own family. No GMO ingredients, no synthetic shortcuts.

Made with Love

Every bar is hand-cut, hand-stamped, and air-cured for 6 weeks on our farm. No assembly lines — just our family.

Real Goat Milk

Our Nigerian Dwarf goats are raised humanely on our farm. Their milk goes from milking stand to soap within 24 hours.

Community First

We donate 2% of every sale to foster care organizations — the cause that started us on this path in 2015.
